Description: Sports Industries Development Centre (SIDC) is a Facilitation Centre of Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (SMEDA), Ministry of Industries and Production (MoI&P) Government of Pakistan. SIDC is ISO 9001:2015 certified providing manufacturing facilities since 2017 for Thermo Football, Basketball, Thermo Volley Ball, Thermo Hand Ball, Thermo Bounded Airless Ball, Tennis Ball, Squash Ball, Paddle Ball & Bladders and Technical Advisory Services, Laboratory Facilities, Workshop facilities and Training to Manpower for SMEs and local sports goods industry. SIDC has contributed  around US$ 90.20 million (Rs. 26.158 billion) approx. to the export from Pakistan, and also US$ 31.30 million (Rs. 9.08 billion) decrease import substitution. SIDC balls manufacturing process was approved by IPO-Pakistan as Patent.
